The TARTHER™ Magic sneaker pays homage to its original design that was unveiled in 1996. Reworked with creative design input from Japanese illustrator, Yu Nagaba, this modern variation of our heritage racing shoe features a series of the artist's illustrations on the toebox. Featuring a textured mesh and synthetic suede application that emulates the original's look, this shoe is complemented with gum-colored accents on the pull-tabs and outsole that resonates with Nagaba's minimalist aesthetic. The silhouette is also reconstructed with a toggled lacing system that makes it easier to take on and off. Additionally, the tooling mimics its 90s ancestor's design that implemented our magic ventilation system—a breathable component that was initially designed to keep sprinters' feet cool while running. .
